A property composed of a ruined house, farmland, vineyards and a pine forest. The clients intend to recover and increase the house in order to develop an agricultural/rural tourism accommodation, and also build a winery and wine tasting area, as they are producers.
The expansion will result in a new volume in dialogue and relationship similar to the existing one, next to the existing stone wall. The volume is repeated, respecting the scale and tradition; the recovered volume will maintain the granite walls and the same tiles, the new volume is reinvested with a contemporary materiality that enriches this dialogue. The interior finishes of both volumes, in contrast to the hardness of the exterior, will be made of wood.
